On the Road Again, From Ohio to China: A Tribute to Da Doox Tours
With Special Guest Honorees: Da Doox of the 1980s
It is with great excitement and pride that the Duke’s Men Alumni Association Reunion Planning Committee announces that registration is now open for our upcoming celebration of all things doox, to be held in New Haven Friday, November 2nd – Sunday, November 4th, 2018.
The 65th Duke’s Men reunion theme is “Tour” and our special honorees will be da doox of the 1980s. From our first in 1956 (to Ohio), to recent more ambitious locations (like China), the extended winter, spring, or summer tour has been an occasion for escaping classes and papers, honing musical performances, and growing friendships that we continue to value many years later. We’ll share those memories and memorabilia.
In addition, we will explore doox and campus life during the ’80s, a period of relative optimism and calm after the turmoil of Viet Nam and Watergate , but also the decade when we experienced the only death of an active member. Together with joining your friends and extended Duke’s Men family in song, how could a crisp fall weekend be better spent?
